 More than 500 species of birds, over 100 species of mammals, and some 125 species of reptiles “coexisting peacefully” in 50,000 acres of dense rainforests. It is a riot of colors, smells, sights, and sounds out there. The wealth of flora and fauna trapped in the jungles around the Panama Canal is overwhelming and unaccounted.
