Soberania
If you are into bird watching then you've got to come to Panama. Panama is well known for it's incredible number of different bird species. WIth over 950 species of birds, Panama easily out numbers both the U.S and Canada combined. Visitors are not dissappointed with the easy access to many of the popular bird watching destinations. 300 species were recorded in a single day by the Audubon Society at Soberania National Park, considered to be one of the very best bird watching locations in the world.
Soberania National Park, once a US military access road, takes you through the forest where you can see an amazing variety of exotic flora and fauna from both the Pacific and Caribbean slopes. You'll get a chance to see a rich variety of trees, plants and animals. If you're lucky you might see a Howler Monkey or maybe even an Anteater.
