Multi-Sport Tour

The objective of this tour is to please the active tourists who want to enjoy every bit of their vacation. This tour keeps you busy with one adventure after another.

Day 1: Arriving at Panama City

At the airport, we will meet you at the gate to take you to your hotel.

Day 2: Go Kayaking In The Panama Canal

Gatun lake is known for its marvelous Caribbean beauty as well as being an important waterway. The adventure begins at Soberania National Park where you find your way to Gamboa. Boarding a fast boat you are taken north toward Monkey Island in the center of the exquisite Gatun Lake. You will most likely get the chance to see a ship or  two pass through the isthmus. It's not unusual to spot Ospreys, monkeys or crocodiles who like to sun themselves on the banks. Our well equipped safety boat has an ice chest of cold beverages in case you get thirsty.

Day 3: Let's Go Mountain Biking

Mountain biking in Panama is different than what you might be used to. It's more like biking through the jungle for 14 kilometers, although most light riders usually only bike about 4 kilometers as it's too much fun looking for wildlife. This single track trail called Plantation Road runs through the beautiful Soberania National Park, deep inside of the Panamanian forest. You can expect to ride over rocks, mud, hard packed sand and pieces of old asphalt. Don't forget the mud!

Day 4: Extreme Canopy Adventure

By rigging large trees with climbing gear, ladders and cables, scientists were able to swing from tree to tree and study the great biodiversity in an even larger area of forest. Swinging over chasms and water, the scientists soon found out that it was actually a whole lot of fun! Nowadays it has become more and more popular as an extreme sport for fearless adventurers. Once you arrive at the canopy site an expert guide will assist you in dawning your harness and safety equipment. Your guide will then go over everything with you to help ensure that you get the most out of your experience. Not for the faint hearted, the platforms in the trees are up to 100 feet high and 450 feet apart! It's almost like flying.

Day 5: Jungle Adventure Tour

We will be headed toward Iguana Creek but first we will enjoy a nice breakfast and a quick 10 minute canoe ride to the trailhead. A challenging trek awaits you here as you are about to hike some steep inclines and treacherous slopes. One after another you will encounter the falls of Iguana Creek. After scaling the 15 meter rock face you will go for a swim in the cool waters pooling around the waterfall, waiting for your fellow adventurers to catch up. From here we make our way down the river on a 40 meter scramble winding down the river bed. You'll continue to push on through unpredictable jungle landscape finally reaching the last of the falls. After a 9 foot rope descent you arrive back at the Chagres river where your canoe will be waiting. The canoe will take you back to the Embera community where you can change your clothes and have lunch as you relax, before traveling back to Panama City.

Day 6: Chiriqui Viejo Whitewater Rafting

You'll be taken to the airport at 6:00 AM and then flown to David. The flight is scheduled to take off at 7:35 AM. Be sure to remember that the airlines only allow 25 pounds of baggage so travel light. From David you will make your way to the site on the Chiriqui Viejo river. This river runs between the Panamanian and Costa Rican border and is not so easy to access. But the drive is worth the extra time. It's a very beautiful drive that anyone would enjoy whether you are going rafting or not. You'll be driving up higher and higher in the mountains able to see everything from virgin untouched forests to the Costa Rican rows of plantations. An excellent view on both sides, bring your camera. As far as whitewater ranking goes the Palon section of Chiriqui Viejo is a III & IV, requiring quick and tight maneuvering to get past many of the rock gardens. These trips are about 4 hours.

Day 7: Hiking the Los Quetzales Trail

On one side of the Baru Volcano you have Cerro Punta, on the other side you have Boquete. The Los Quetzales trail runs between the two communities and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. It is also the natural habitat of the rare and beautiful Quetzal. It's about a 6 hour hike from Boquete to Los Quetzales.

Day 8: Rest Day

After a nice breakfast you have the opportunity to explore this charming old town. Sometime later in the afternoon you will be transferred back to Panama City.

Day 9: Departure

Make sure you arrive at the international airport at least two hours before your scheduled flight.
